Radio 6150 20./21. Januar 2012

We now got the tx working with full modulation without distortion. So this weekend we'll test with 300 watts PEP, then using the PA getting 1 to 4 kW PEP. At least, we hope so :-).
 
We would like to get reports and audiofiles.
 
If you could inform your friends it would be great.
 
Within the next weeks we will send the QSLs for all reports, we got till now.

Technical Information for Receiving 9480 KHz:

The transmitter at Göhren is using A3H (carrier with upper side band) modulation. If you use a normal AM - shortwave receiver, please tune exactly to 9480 KHz. If you use a SSB - receiver, please tune to 9480 KHz, USB - mode. This will give you the best results.

Global Pirate HF-Weekend 14-15.1.2012

I'd like to remind all pirate stations and listeners around the world that next Pirate HF-Weekend will be 14-15.1.2012 !

That would be a test-weekend for pirates from all over the world to broadcast on High Frequencies 10-28 MHz (mostly on 15-22 MHz) to reach other continents !!  There have been a lot of new visitors to my blog from all over the world, so I think there will be new listeners standing by - from South America and Asia.

I hope the stations try to use frequencies between 21.450 - 21.550 MHz and 14.980 - 15.100 MHz, but of course anything goes.
IF ALL STATIONS DO NOT WANT TO SIGN IN, PLEASE TRY USE THESE FREQUENCY SLOTS !

1) European MORNING 08.00 - 12.00 UTC from Europe to Asia/Japan/Oceania. 

2) European AFTERNOON 12.00 - 16.00 utc from Europe to North America and vice versa.

    No stations from USA or Canada signed to this slot yet.

The conditions have came down a little since November (28 MHz ham-QSO's are weak) but I think 21.5 MHz will be open - and 15 MHz for sure. Next time will be in the end of March when conditions are supposed to be better again (via F2-layer).
